In this third part of a new build report, I show how I created the middle wing segment B.

The brand new F3L competition model - Antares, designed by Pascal Eckert and produced together with his friends.

The model appeared out of nowhere during the 2023 season and was able to show its potential in very windy conditions. It penetrates very well into the wind, offers little drag and can be ballasted extremely high. 750 grams and more are no problem, but the glider also works perfectly in thermals! Pascal was able to demonstrate this with flying colors at the German Championships.

In diesem zweiten Teil eines Neubauberichts zeige ich, wie ich das äußere Flügelsegment erstellt habe. Das Endgewicht beträgt 8,5 Gramm.

Das brandneue F3L-Wettbewerbsmodell – Antares, entworfen von Pascal Eckert und zusammen mit seinen Freunden produziert.

Das Modell ist im Laufe der Saison 2023 aus dem nichts erschienen und hat gerade bei sehr windigen Bedingungen sein Potential zeigen können. Er penetriert sehr gut gegen den Wind, bietet wenig Luftwiderstand und kann extrem hoch aufballastiert werden. 750 Gramm und mehr sind kein Problem, aber der Flieger funktioniert auch in der Thermik perfekt! Das hat Pascal auf der Deutschen Meisterschaft mit Bravour vorführen können.
