A slow New Year’s Day in Japan.
This vlog captures an ordinary New Year spent alone in Takarazuka —
cooking simple Japanese food, taking a quiet walk, and spending the day at home.
New Year traditions in Japan can vary by region,
and today I reflect on those small differences while making simmered dishes from my hometown.
Later, I visit the Takarazuka Grand Theater and walk along Hanamichi,
a path that gently changes its expression with each season.
There is no big celebration here —
just daily life, moving slowly into a new year.
