Using the BMW stock auxiliary light brackets, I have mounted a set of Clearwater Darla LED driving lights. These are very bright for 2" lights, having 2000 lumens of well focussed light each.
One big feature of Clearwater lights for BMW's is the "CANOpener" interface, which allows you to use the stock bike switches to control the function of these lights. No extra switches need to be mounted, AND, you don't "cut" into the harness of the bike, the interface simply plugs "in-line" innocuously to the bikes tire monitor.
These are on the lower end of output of Clearwater's line, even though they will outperform most lights on the market. I did not include output photos, but there are several available on line. I find you have to see them with your own eyes in person to judge their function. I would say with the high beams on, they fill in the two sides of the road for better visibility, but they are not so bright on the RT to outperform the stock high beams.
