In this video, I visit the famous Chitai Golu Devta Temple near Almora, one of the most powerful and unique temples in Uttarakhand. Dedicated to Golu Devta (Gaur Bhairava), the god of justice, this temple is widely known for its belief that anyone suffering from injustice receives true nyay (justice) after praying here.
Along with Chitai Temple, we also went to the sacred Jageshwar Dham, one of the most important Shaivism pilgrimage sites in India. Surrounded by deodar forests and ancient stone temples, Jageshwar is a peaceful and spiritual place dedicated to Lord Shiva.
Located in the beautiful Kumaon region, these temples are famous for their deep faith, ancient history, and unique traditions. Chitai Temple is well known for its thousands of bells and the special tradition of writing letters to Golu Devta to fulfill wishes and solve problems.
