The reason I’m making this video is to give you hope that there is something out there that does its job and doesn’t give you a stomach ache. I’ve struggled though many ultras, either feeling like I was going to throw up, or throwing up. In fact, its even caused me to DNF a race because I kept throwing up and got super dehydrated!
At first I thought it was my nutrition plan, so I totally changed everything I was eating, and still got sick, then it dawned on me, I’ve changed everything expect my electrolyte!

Ok one of the 3 things why I love Redmond salt relyte is it has everything I need in a simple to use stick that is easily added to your water bottle. On the fly or easy for volunteers at an aid station to tear open and do it for you. Plus they are easy to carry, and I don’t know if they are supposed to be water proof or not, but I’ve ran in the rain with them and they stayed dry on the inside no problem.
And if you’re wondering, there’s no sugar, no junk, they are keto and paleo friendly and vegan too!
Second thing I like about them is there is no calories – I’ve tried scratch and tail wind and all those others that have calories when I was testing, and they felt heavy in my stomach and got hard to drink after a while, where this is just the stuff you need to keep you going while you’re sweating.
