FIRST SOUNDS // Old Blood Noise Sunlight Stereo!!

When Brady and the ‪@oldbloodnoise‬ (OBNE) released the Dark Star Stereo reverb, which won our "Best Release" in 2024, they proudly showed the world they could redux their staples and breathe new life. That sounds simple, but after what I would call a falling-short attempt of stereo reverbs with the Dark Light, OBNE could have doubled down claiming the "stereo" of Dark Light was the new face of things to come. Don't get me wrong, the Dark Light isn't bad, just consider it a limited edition release.

I'll stop there. I don't meant to bash the Dark Light, but what OBNE has done with the Dark Star Stereo and beyond was like taking a rusted up '64 Mustang and didn't just slap a new coat of paint on it but instead took it completely apart, replaced every piece, bright and shiny new paint, and gave it the engine it was always meant to have...she purrs but she ain't exactly street legal.

In true NEW OBNE format, they've taken a pedal that in previous iterations had multiple modes, and made them all accessible simultaneously! If you haven't give then new pedals a try, you're doing yourself a disservice! You can check them all out here on our channel!

Enough rambling. What about the pedal?? The Sunlight Stereo is the perfect partner to the Dark Star Stereo. The Sunlight provides movement and dynamics, lightness and excitement. You can get lost in the weeds of creativity turned into zaniness, but given the right amount of love and you're in for beauty beyond words. She's got everything you'd want with this pedal.
