I recently met up with some friends at Gilgo Beach, NY USA who were interested in some waveski surfing instruction. Our surf day included Dad in his 40s, his sons age 10, 12 & 17, all with no waveski or surf kayak experience. However, they are all experienced in boating, swimming, and all around flat water paddling so we hit the waves very quickly after our instruction on the beach.

Everyone had a blast and caught plenty of waves! Even my buddy Tom, an experienced SOT surf kayaker, came down to try out the New Macski Phoenix. I'm a big fan of the Phoenix for many reasons and I'll be doing a full review of this new paddle surf craft very soon. You can visit www.macskisurfgear.com for specs and more info.
