Visiting Santa Claus Village in Rovaniemi was truly a magical experience! We took a public bus from Rovaniemi city center and spent the whole day exploring this winter wonderland. Though the village is small, there’s so much to do!

✨ Things to Do in Santa Claus Village:

🎅 Meet Santa Claus – The biggest highlight! Meeting Santa is free, but if you want the digital photo and video, it costs €55.
🎁 Special Surprise – Meet Mrs. Santa Claus! – It costs €5 per person, and a professional photo costs €20.
❄️ Cross the Arctic Circle – A must-do experience! Step over the line marking the Arctic Circle and officially enter the north!
📸 Live Webcam – Share the live webcam link with family and friends so they can see you standing in the Santa Claus Village in real-time!
💌 Send a Postcard from Santa Claus Village – The Santa Claus Post Office lets you send postcards worldwide with a special Arctic Circle stamp. However, my experience was mixed—the postcard I sent to my parents arrived after three weeks, but two others I sent to friends haven’t arrived even after a month. So, I’m still skeptical about it. Think before you send!
🛷 Reindeer & Husky Rides – The reindeer ride inside the village is very short and not worth it. Instead, we recommend longer rides at Apukka Resort for a better experience.
🍽️ Santamus Restaurant & Gold Panning Activity – We had a delicious meal at Santamus Restaurant, and they also offer gold panning inside. If you're visiting in peak season, pre-booking is recommended, but in the off-season, you can just walk in.
⛄ Snowman World – A fun attraction that costs €29, but we skipped it as we felt it was too expensive for what it offers.
