Reg Fullelove - A Walk Down Memory Lane with Aer Reg | Staffordshire Memories

Reg Fullelove, often affectionately referred to as 'Aer Reg' by locals of the Heath Hayes & Brownhills area is true community elder in every sense of the word. He is known as a local historian as well as a poet, he has raised considerable money for charity over the years. Reg is now 92 years old as of June 2022. He has been doing talks and TV appearances for over 45 years and in 1984 recieved a B.M.E for his charity work.

Once Reg retired at the age of 55, he took a great interest in local history, and with the aid of his wife would begin giving talks to share his experience growing up in the 1930's and 40's. He acquired a great many authentic articles from this period; clothes, toys and utilities which he keeps in what he refers to as his 'museum' and he uses these for demonstration purposes.

I believe this talk would have been done in the early to mid 90's although I cannot find proof of a specific date.

Notes:
I have done my best to digitise this is a quality as true to the original as is possible, though due to the nature of old analogue media some imperfections will remain. Notably on this recording the resolution is not ideal, and the audio is less than perfect due to the method of recording in such a large room, there is also some mild clicking present on the audio throughout.

I did upload this previously, however this is a second attempt with slightly improved video quality and drastically improved audio quality.
