Luke records Jesus’ sermon as taking place on the plain. We take a closer look at the importance of the setting, its connection to Moses and Sinai, and to the actual content of the sermon.
Jesus’ sermon contains some of his most famous sayings, like “love your enemies” and “judge not.” Though familiar, most people don’t really understand what Jesus meant by these sayings. In our study, we take a closer look at Jesus' sermon and the real meaning of his words.
We’ll discover a more challenging word and we’ll connect it to the world of Jesus and its Old Testament background.
