Eerie, beautiful and most of all, fun! The Locrian mode isn't the easiest scale to make use of, but in this etude, there's only solo guitar and bass, which streamlines the process. Piano and strings add atmosphere. Tremolo/double-picking and a smooth 6/8 time signature create a flowing, serpentine feel.
