Harry Borden is one of the UK’s leading portrait photographers, known for his striking images of celebrities, politicians, and cultural icons. His work has been widely published in The New Yorker, Vogue, and The Observer, and is held in the collections of the National Portrait Gallery in London and Australia.

Born in New York and raised in Devon, Borden studied photography at Plymouth College of Art and Design before moving to London, where he began his career assisting Lester Bookbinder. Since his first commission in 1994, he has become a sought-after portrait photographer.
His solo exhibition Harry Borden: On Business at the National Portrait Gallery (2005) showcased 30 portraits of business leaders. His acclaimed books include Survivor: A Portrait of the Survivors of the Holocaust (2017), shortlisted for the European Publishers Award for Photography, and Single Dad (2021).
