The Surrey 89ers endured a difficult night at home, falling 66-96 to the Bristol Flyers in their second game of the SLB season. Despite a promising first quarter, Surrey were unable to maintain their composure or shooting consistency as Bristol pulled away in the middle stages of the game.

Player of the Game: Mike Graham
Forward Mike Graham was the standout for Surrey, finishing with 7 points, 13 rebounds (4 OR), 1 steal and 1 block in 22:09. His hustle on the glass and ability to create second-chance opportunities were bright spots on an otherwise challenging night for the 89ers.
From the Coach:
Head Coach Lloyd Gardner spoke frankly about the team’s disappointing performance: “We weren’t sharp enough — mentally or physically. Bristol executed better, and we didn’t match their energy when the game turned in the third quarter. It’s early in the season, but we’ve got to respond and set the tone at home next week.”
