Galli-Curci's final recording of "Caro Nome". Strangely, this March 28, 1930 recording of the aria (Take 38) was apparently issued before the superior May 13, 1927 version with recitative (Take 21). Either accidentally or intentionally, RCA Victor replaced this recording with the 1927 version of the aria with the same catalog number sometime in the 1940s. Along with Galli-Curci's unreleased electrical version of Juliet's Waltz, this is easily her poorest recording.
