Go Kart Track day - Avola Kartdromo Circuit, Sicily.

Hey guys!
Today was a winter track day here in Sicily, and we’ve been training really hard for the upcoming karting season in Italy. It ended up being a super exciting session because there were shifter karts on track — fast, loud, and a little crazy — but we still managed to have an awesome day.

We’re training at the Avola Kartodromo Circuit, a tight and technical track with tons of corners and two short straights. That means every lap is intense with almost no time to relax. Since it was a Sunday morning, the track was full: other kids in smaller karts, adults in bigger karts, and even a few guys on motorcycles. Tons of energy!

Before heading out, my dad, my coach Corrado, and our mechanic Ricky got the kart ready — fuel, tire pressures, and a quick check to make sure everything was perfect. This was my first time sharing the track with shifter karts, so Corrado gave me some great advice about how to handle the big speed differences safely.

Once I got out on track, I focused on keeping my racing line clean and tidy. I found another driver with similar pace, and we lapped together, switching who led and pushing each other. It was a lot of fun and I felt proud of how well I kept up even with the shifter karts buzzing by.

Coming back into the pits, I felt really grateful for Corrado, Ricky, and my whole family for making this such a fun day at the track.
