Designed, engineered and hand produced by Raymond W. Kierna Jr, founder of Copter Concepts. Raymond became renowned in the mid 1990's for his scale rubber powered flying helicopter kits, featuring state of the art light weight mechanical system designs. He also produced a Bell 206, Bell UH-1b Huey, Sikorsky VS-300, and a KA-50 Hokum, totaling approximately 500 kits from 1996-2003, with early kits being very hard to locate. Raymond was featured in Flying Models Magazine in February, July and December of 1997.... and the March and August issues in 1999.
I once had the pleasure of interviewing Ray over the telephone and he was glad to know some of his kits are still around. When I asked him about flight times he informed me the record was held by Chris Starleaf.
