Excerpts from Chicago Film Archives' Frank Koza Collection. This sequence of unedited newsreel footage includes scenes of convention set up, Chicago cops, a GOP parade (with a real life elephant!), a Nixon press conference, and some Republican themed kite flying. All scenes are silent, with the exception of Nelson Rockefeller addressing an audience at a Labor Luncheon.
