Welcome to my new musical session, recorded in the vibrant city of Berkane, Morocco, and in the stunning Beni Snassen mountains. This is my personal cover of “Habibi” by Kendji Girac, a song filled with emotion, passion and nostalgia. I wanted to bring this beautiful track to life in a unique Moroccan setting that matches its soul.

This session was filmed during golden hour on the traditional rooftop terraces of Berkane, with the warm evening sun setting behind the city. We also recorded powerful scenes in the Beni Snassen mountain range, known for its rugged beauty, peaceful atmosphere and dramatic landscapes.

Singing “Habibi” in these locations felt magical — like the mountains and rooftops added their own voice to the music.

This cover is my own heartfelt interpretation, inspired by the love, longing and warmth carried in the original.
