For awhile in the mid 2010's, it seemed like there were more boutique amp companies than there were guitar players. When the bubble burst, only the strongest survived. Benson Amps emerged as one as one of the industry leaders in custom and hand crafted amp building.
The Monarch was one of Benson's first designs and the bedrock for most future amps. This 15 watt, 6V6 powered guitar amp has also been used in 2/3 of the demo videos on this channel and is my #1 requested review.
