Lighting Lives This Diwali | Dr. Menon’s Palliative Care Centre

On 19th October 2025, the spirit of Diwali illuminated every corner of Dr. Menon’s Palliative Care Centre as senior citizens, staff, and guests came together to celebrate the festival of lights with love, laughter, and gratitude.

Nearly 150 guests joined the celebration, including enthusiastic children from neighbouring villages who performed delightful dances. Our staff too added colour to the evening with energetic performances that reflected the true joy of togetherness.

We were honoured to have Mr. Supe and Mrs. Gayatri, President and Secretary of Brahmand Music Katta, Thane, join us and fill the evening with melodious songs that touched every heart.

The event began with a soulful Diwali Puja, followed by fun, music, live food counters, and ended with a burst of happiness through sparkling Diwali fireworks.

As Vedanta reminds us — “The divine does not demand offerings made from anxiety but accepts love expressed through awareness.”
Real worship lies in maintaining harmony with nature, others, and oneself.

The offerings and food served were a symbol of overflowing gratitude toward the Supreme Power. When hearts are filled with thankfulness, life truly multiplies its feast of joy.
