Here is my little spin on the famous Griffith’s Gnat Dry Fly.
A must for any angler, this pattern produces fish time and time again. When fish are feeding on small Gnats they can’t resist these.
The Hi-Viz post helps track the fly on the water, whist the thread rib offers a little more durability. I find having a hackle a little longer allows the fly to skate on the surface with a more natural presentation.
Get a few tied and get them out on the water!

Hook: Dry Fly Hook (16-20)
Thread: Uni Thread 8/0 Black
Post: Veniard Antron Yarn (Fluorescent Yellow)
Body: Peacock Herl
Hackle: Badger Saddle
