This walking tour took place in a neighborhood called Bole Mikael (Addis Ababa, Ethiopia), where a large number of Somali immigrants have settled (live together) for decades. The footage was shot on April 10, 2024 which is a Muslim holiday of Eid Al Fitr. I don't have any negative opinion or feeling about Somalis living here in large numbers.

Recent DNA evidence suggested, After analyzing the DNA of almost 1,000 people around the world, that humans originated and spread from around what is now Addis Ababa 100,000 years ago. The fossilized skeleton, and a plaster replica of the early hominid Lucy (known in Ethiopia as Dinkinesh) is one of the numerous preserved hominid skeletons at the Ethiopian National Museum in Addis Ababa.

Addis Ababa has more than enough history and sights to warrant more than just a stopover.
