Mirosław Szeib was born in 1963 in Międzyzdroje, lives
In Swinoujscie. He graduated from the High School of Art in Szczecin.
For many years the author treated painting as a hobby and great passion, only later became a way of life.
In the 90's he became interested in maritime science. Maritime battles began.
Two images were created, each three meters long - "Battle of the Vyborg" and "Battle of Copenhagen". Their work lasted over a year. The first one was found in Sweden, the other one in Denmark. The "Battle of the Vyborg" is currently on deposit at the Maritime Museum in Karlskrona. Photos of both paintings can be viewed in our gallery, link - sea battles.
Later, moody genre scenes began to emerge. Many of them against the background of ancient cities from the turn of the 19th / 20th century. Each of them painted with great precision and attention to the appearance of the city in a given epoch. Most often, these are paintings of former Warsaw, Cracow and Gdansk. There were also a number of works on Judaic subjects - Jews in prayer robes, genre scenes from Cracow Casimir and Jews counting money. These are time-consuming works and therefore the dimensions of the images are smaller. Most of the images in the generic scene series are 30 x 40 cm in size.

Most of the paintings are in private homes in the country, a large part of which is in Germany, where nautical and marine landscapes are often bought from the island of Usedom.
