Surrounded by Idiots- a behavioural and personality profiling book by Thomas Erikson was a best seller and published in dozens of languages around the world. This video is a review of his book and summary of the DISC profiling theory that he and others have popularised throughout the business world, as a method to match people in a work environment with tasks that need doing, as well as to help managers more effectively communicate with their employees.

However, it has also proven to be very popular in the personal development world, to help individuals get a better understanding of their own quirks and peculiarities of behaviour, and so help them to be more effective in the way they communicate with their own family, friends and colleagues in a more sympathetic and empowering way.
