Day 1: UNESCAP/UNSIAP/ROSSTAT Webinar Series on Selected Topics in Environmental-Economic Accounting

The webinars were organized as part of the Strengthening Requisite Skill Sets for Improved Quality of SDG Statistics in Central Asia Project and attended by representative of nine countries.

They were conducted in English with simultaneous translation into Russian. During the first day participants learned about the overall SEEA framework.

Details on the compilation of water accounts were also discussed including the policy relevance of integrated water information, the structure of physical supply and use tables, and asset accounts.

Participants also learned about data sources and institutional mechanisms.
