Aloha adventurers! In this episode, we’re exploring the less-traveled eastern border of West Maui—where lush valleys, local farms, coastal dunes, and hidden beaches await. If you're looking for a quieter, nature-filled alternative to the famous Hana Highway, this route is for you!

We start our day at the majestic Iao Valley, one of Maui’s most sacred and scenic locations. Then it's on to the Maui Macadamia Nut Farm for a behind-the-scenes tour and some delicious local snacks. From there, we explore the Waihee Coastal Dune and Wetland Refuge, a peaceful trail with epic ocean views and cultural significance.

But that’s not all—we also stop at Coral Beach and Paukukalo Beach, two off-the-radar gems where you’re more likely to spot sea turtles than crowds. We wrapped up the day with local-style plate lunch at the delicious Sparky’s Food Company in Kahului.
