I hope that this is the definitive guide for why your Ford Ranger won’t turn over!

Some things to keep in mind:
Fuel pumps need 12 V to prime and then back off to a 6 V feed.
The green wire on the fuel switch comes from the fuel relay, and the pink water goes to the fuel pump.
The computer TFI/ICM is what tells the ignition coil to send that first spark.
After that, the pick up coil/camshaft sensor needs to respond. If you’re getting that primer spark, the problem is likely not the computer nor the ignition coil.
