130. Simple DIY - building a prototype tablet stand - version #3

In this video, I show you how I designed and built this prototype table stand for my wife to use with her iPad. This is actually the 3rd stand I have made for her, but this version is the one that gets daily use. Using corrugated cardboard (typically free from the recycle bin) and chipboard (very low cost from Amazon), I have found that I can build some very lightweight yet very sturdy and durable projects. My message here is that you do not need expensive materials or tools to build some durable items which you can use everyday. I find as I get older, I have less tolerance for loud noises. Whenever I am in my shop using a loud power tool like the BladeRunner or a shop vac, I wear these earmuffs.
