The Orientalism in Dune

Dune borrows a lot from many different cultures, including Arabic, and I wanted to specifically go into just how deeply that goes since the films came out. I did a lot of research into this topic so I could to be as thorough as possible.
As it is Sci-fi I understand the argument that Freman aren't Arabs, but I thought it was worth exploring how much MENA culture influenced their creation.

I would love to have further discussions to get your opinion, like I mentioned in the video it’s such a complex topic.
