Our robotics research looks at how robots can adapt to human interaction; from supporting patients in their recovery from a brain injury, to robots ‘learning’ how to effectively pick fruit and vegetables. Our research can also be applied in neuroscience research to identify the signs of mental and physical fatigue in the brain and muscles to improve patient recovery outcomes.
Herts’ research harnesses the current and future power of artificial intelligence and robotics to make positive difference to the world we live in.
