GM has been hit with a class action lawsuit concerning the 6.2L L87 V8 engine found in the Silverado 1500, GMC Sierra 1500, Chevy Suburban, GMC Yukon and Cadillac Escalade. The lawsuit states that the 6.2 has faulty connecting rod bearings causing catastrophic engine failure. Sometimes at highway speeds putting drivers in a dangerous situation.
