Build report covering two 1/700 scale frigates: HMS Lively (1804) and French frigate La Pomone (1785). HMS Lively was a 38-gun fifth-rate frigate designed by Sir William Rule, launched at Woolwich in 1804. La Pomone was a 40-gun French frigate captured by the British in 1794, whose design inspired the Endymion-class frigates. The hulls were a gift from a friend, 16K resin prints that he made from historical plans.The most detailed I have ever worked with, they even have brass monkeys. Scratch-built masts and running rigging using wire down to 0.05mm diameter. My most detailed build at this scale to date. This was hours and hours in the making.
