After 100's of hours of research and being in DIY parrot Toy groups on FB and 100's of hours of practice I feel I've gotten it down pretty well now. In the beginning I was like a new dancer who had two left feet. I didn't know where to start now that I had supplies but after lots of 'ugly' toys I have developed an eye and hand at making some really fun toys for my birds. It's a great fun hobby.
We used to have a green house business so I was used to using my hands all day and all night making tags for the plants so this is really great for me to keep busy and keep my artistic side stimulated.
