Empty Spain, and Emptied Spain, are rather prescient concepts in Spain these days; the emptiness and emptying out of Spain's vast expanses.
Unvisited, underpopulated and sometimes unloved these are remote and often forgotten parts of Spain. But there are beautiful and are sometimes in need of support.
We head to Teruel, the smallest and most remote provincial capital, as well as a stop in the beautiful town of Albarracín and some obligatory, and rather dramatic, castles.
