"Ziggy Stardust" by Bauhaus
I've always been partial to Bauhaus' cover of "Ziggy Stardust," but mostly because I think it's the version I actually heard first. Don't get me wrong, I love the Bowie version as well, but this one has a more full guitar sound, a more aggressive bass line, and is just grittier in a way that I just love.
Besides, it's September, the beginning of the spooky season, and Bauhaus is perfect for this time of year.
