DUST - A Cinematic Homage - Burning Man 2024

DUST, an independently produced art film by unisono films, is a cinematic homage and gift to the Burning Man community.

The filmmaking couple, Ayni and Severin Koller, have been breathing dust together since they met in Black Rock City in 2017, in deep playa. Their 37-minute film artistically weaves the 10 Principles into an immersive journey, from documenting the intense process of the build to the last glowing embers of the burning Temple, while honoring the Black Rock Desert as a sacred site, reminding us of the most important principle of sustainability – to Leave no Trace.

In 2024, MAXA welcomed the couple into their Mexican community, supporting their vision as artists in bringing DUST to life. This visual poetry is now ready to meet the eyes of the world — best viewed on the big screen.
