There are many tips on how to shoot better and they all start with the basics. Whether you're wing shooting hunting, shooting sporting clays, or trap shooting, the fundamentals should be the same.
In this new series with Beretta professional sporting clay shooters Zach Kienbaum and Desirae Edmunds, they'll take a look at fundamentals and tips for better wing shooting both at the range and in the marsh. There might even be a few tips that go against how you were taught to shoot. We're starting with the basics of when it comes time to pull the trigger. Many of us were told to shoulder the shotgun by bringing the stock to our shoulder then taking aim. The correct term is to mount the shotgun by bringing it to your face. Doing so, will automatically place it on your shoulder and make for a quicker transition when the shot is called.
