A beautiful story of a young girl who knew from an early age that her spiritual journey would lead her towards Jain monkhood. Her journey was filled with devotion, sacrifices, and an unwavering commitment to Jain values.
Highlights of her journey:
✅ Khushi Ben's mom heard the Kalpsutra for the first time, and from that moment, Khushi was named after happiness ("Khushi").
✅ At just 11 years old, Khushi Ben expressed her desire to go to Gurukulwas (a place for learning and spiritual development).
✅ She embarked on a 300 km Vihar, traveling barefoot, alongside her mother, to deepen her spiritual practice.
✅ Her love for watching television was replaced by Swadhyay (self-study) after her time in Gurukulwas.
✅ Faced with resistance from her grandparents, Khushi Ben took an oath of water fasting for 9 months, leading them to finally give her their blessing for diksha.
