「淨心神咒」：為八神咒之首，是修道之人淨化身心，排除雜念，安定心神時所用之咒。此咒能使凡心入於冥寂，返觀道心，入於清靜之中，並有保魂護魄的作用。
Purifying Heart Mantra: It is the first among the Eight Divine Spells, used by those who practice the Way to purify their bodies and minds, eliminate distracting thoughts, and stabilize their spirits. This spell can lead ordinary minds into a state of profound stillness, turning inward to the Way, and entering into a state of tranquility. It also serves to protect the soul and spirit.

「淨口神咒」：含有兩層真意。一為我人生於世俗，難免謗經毀道，妄言他人之過，更有世人不信鬼神，指天罵地，綺語兩舌，咒詛諛曲，此皆為口業。另居於塵俗，三葷五腥難免避訛，口氣腥檀膻臭，誦經論法，汙穢三寶。故應常誦淨口神咒消除口業，滌除口中穢氣。
Purifying Mouth Mantra: It carries two layers of true meaning. Firstly, as humans living in the secular world, it is inevitable that we may slander scriptures and the Way, falsely accuse others, and even more, some people do not believe in gods and spirits, swearing at heaven and earth, speaking falsely and deceitfully, cursing and flattering, all of which constitute oral sins. Secondly, living in the dusty world, it is unavoidable to consume meat, resulting in a foul breath. Reciting scriptures and discussing the Dharma while having such a breath would contaminate the Three Treasures. Therefore, the Purification of the Mouth Spell should be recited regularly to eliminate oral sins and cleanse the foul breath from the mouth.

「淨身神咒」：可令身體內的四正之神歸於正位，消除身業，擁護身形，保衛道體。所謂身業即殺盜邪淫等罪，使修道之人身體清靜，能以清靜之身感召神靈。
Purifying Body Mantra: It can cause the Four Righteous Gods within the body to return to their proper positions, eliminating bodily sins, protecting the physical form, and safeguarding the Way's essence. The so-called bodily sins refer to crimes such as killing, stealing, and sexual misconduct, enabling those who practice the Way to have a pure body and to summon deities with a pure body.

「安土地神咒」：為結壇行法召遣土地山神，以使之代為凡夫奏告上天，保衛正道時所用。

「金光神咒」：以修煉道體之心性為主，主張以内煉金光元神護體，降魔衛道。

「祝香神咒」：借向上的煙雲，傳遞凡間的訊息，將悃誠之意傳達於九天。焚香並非供奉，而是有外之潔淨，內之傳信這兩方面的作用。
