Emerging carbon wheels brands. There seems to be a lot of them and the carbon wheel market is becoming more and more crowded. So what's the point in investing into a boutique carbon wheel player when you can buy mainstream and have the peace of mind. In this video we'll be delving into that question, via speed tests, a mechanics point of view, and a general overview of each rim. Aaron will be pulling apart the hubs and giving us a mechanical run down.
Regarding the speed tests:
All standing starts from same position
Very low wind day
Wind direction and gusts noted in spreadsheet
Tyres and tubes the same
Same level of water in water bottle (I sip out of one in my car!)
Same body position
Same power meter (for this run it was my Wahoo powerlink pedals)
