This PLACE IS AMAZING ..
It's worth a visit to The Saxophone Pub. Their menu alone is a work of art. It would make a nice coffee table book. It shows an amazing variety of local Thai dishes which are expertly prepared and excellently presented. There's also many other dishes westerners would find appealing. The cocktail menu is out of control. So much choice! Wow!
It is located right at the Victory Monument in Bangkok. If you love fusion, funk, soul, blues, big band .. even reggae, you've got to check out this bar, pub, restaurant, cocktail lounge.
The musicians are no doubt some of the best in Thailand. So many seasoned players and singers all enjoying performing to an enthusiastic and encouraging audience.
On a Sunday evening, at midnight, you can catch Phrima's Band. A funky, fusion blend of cool songs and top notch musicianship.
You'll find a few farang, but it's mostly Thai's out having a good time.
There's no cover charge.
Put this one on your list of things to do in Bangkok.
