ANYWAYS HIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII this was SUCH a fun song to make!!!!!!!!! Aku sent me a super fun and catchy demo of what would eventually become the verse back at the beginning of 2024 and some. not so fun events. with somebody irl. happened to transpire right around the same time. and i was like "can i speedrun the rest of this song i can feel everything in my bones" and he was like "sure idgaf" LMAO so anyways that took over a year and this is the longest i've gone without uploading a song since high school SORRYYYY orz
It was suuuuuuuch a cathartic song to create and really helped alleviate some of the mental tension of an extremely stressful scenario, plus i got to make it about toxic yuri so like everybody wins. I'm soooo proud of my lyricism and sound design here, I've never attempted anything dubstep related before and I feel like for a first attempt this came out really cool. BIG SHOUTOUT TO CIRCUS AND DASU FOR HELPING ME OUT WITH THE SOUND DESIGN!!!!!! the song wouldn't be NEARLY as 2016 coded without them LMAOOOOOOOOOOO
ALSO CAN I JUST SAY SUZIE BLEW ME AWAY WITH THE VIDEO?????????????????????? she was busting her ASS to get this out in time for Vocagathering and it came out so fucking stellar, all of the hand drawn animation, glitchy effects, graphic design, everything is so fucking good and I could not have asked for a better video suzie if ur reading this ILY
lastly, this song truly goes out to all of the people who have suffered at the hands of situationships from hell, as someone who was struggling with my mental health big time while going through everything, that shit is so fucking brutal, and just know that IT GENUINELY DOES GET BETTER AND THEY DO NOT DESERVE YOU mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmWAH
