I’ve removed the original guitar tracks and recreated them for You’re In Love, the opening track from Ratt’s 1985 Invasion of Your Privacy album. Believe this is the first video from this record that I saw at the time on MTV, and it set the stage for the rest of the album which did not disappoint. It is a fantastic record and one I still listen to from start to finish today.
The solos are classic DiMartini - from smooth and slippery to quick and punchy. A definite challenge to pick them out and get them clean enough to record. I tried to get them as close as I can hear them, but as always let me know what you think.
