Introduction to Blockboard Production Line
A blockboard production line is a set of sequential machines and processes that manufacture blockboards—wood-based panels with a core of solid wood strips, sandwiched between two thin veneers (face and back).
The key steps typically include:
1. **Raw material preparation**: Cutting logs into small wood strips (core material) and slicing wood into thin veneers (face/back material); drying strips/veneers to control moisture.
2. **Core assembly**: Arranging dried wood strips evenly (with gaps filled if needed) to form the blockboard core.
3. **Gluing & pressing**: Spreading adhesive on the core’s two sides, attaching face/back veneers, then pressing the assembly under heat and pressure to bond layers firmly.
4. **Trimming & sanding**: Cutting the pressed panel to standard sizes and sanding the surface for smoothness.
5. **Quality inspection & packaging**: Checking for defects (e.g., uneven bonding, cracks) and packaging qualified blockboards for storage or shipment.
This line balances efficiency and quality, producing blockboards widely used in furniture, interior decoration, and cabinetry.
