How I Would Save Jaguar | Addressing Their Ridiculous Rebrand & Thoughts on the Type 00 Concept

With all of the wild reactions to Jaguar's rebranding, reimagining and rethink of their image and marketing, it got me to thinking about what I would have done to reinvent and push the iconic brand into a new and higher market, as well as unpacking my thoughts on the recently unveiled 'Jaguar Type 00' concept car, a preview of their new 1000 bhp EV direction, with a trio of luxury limo, GT and SUV planned for the next few years...

While ambitious and certainly bold, some of their changes have been received with uproar, understandably so given that their first ad didn't even include a car. Ditching the iconic leaper and cat brand logos, mismatching upper and lower case lettering for the new 'jaGUar' grille iconography, and presenting their almost Jensen Interceptor-esque concept car in a combination of pink and tan...hmm.
