A Visit to Stone Mountain Park - Part One - The Park - Plus BONUS Ozark Filming Location!

Come along with me on an exploration of the main section of Stone Mountain Park referred to as The Crossroads, and some of the park itself. The Crossroads is where you can ride the Stone Mountain train around the park, get a good, up-close look at Stone Mountain, take the aerial tram to the top of the mountain, shop for Stone Mountain souveniers and more, dine at a variety of eateries, and enjoy some of the activities, such as a splash pad and challenge course in season. I visited on what was the opening day of the 2024 season, the first day that some of the seasonal attractions had re-opened for the season (but not all). Things were pretty quiet, no crowds, since they were just ramping up for the season. The park is suitable for all ages.
