2021 Texas Milo Harvest in the Mud.

In this video I am out in a field of Milo near Robstown Texas. They are harvesting their 2021 Milo crop using a Case IH 9250 and 8240 combine on tracks. Also in the video is a Case IH 500 Quad Trac tractor (Rowtrac) pulling a Killbros 1111 grain cart on tracks. This area has been getting record amounts of rain making harvest very difficult. The main crops in this part of Texas are Milo, Cotton and Corn. This area was heaed into a severe drought the first part of April when I was here then it started raining in May and hasn't stopped. I'm told this area has got 20-50 inches of rain since May and their average annual rainfall is 24 inches with August being one of the wetter months. Many farmers in this area had to purchase tracks for their combines to get this crop harvested. If you go back to some of my wheat harvest videos from early June they have been dealing with the same thing in north Texas, Their is still areas fighting to get their wheat harvested that should have been done over a month ago.
