Funeral procession for Milwaukee police officer Kendall Corder

Milwaukee police officer Kendall Corder's body is being taken to Elmbrook Church in Brookfield for his funeral.

Corder was fatally shot in an ambush on June 26. He died three days later.

Corder's partner, Officer Christopher McCray, was wounded in the shooting. He was hospitalized for about two days.

The suspect, 22-year-old Tremaine Jones, faces three counts including first-degree intentional homicide. He is due back in court July 18.

Wisconsin Gov. Tony Evers ordered flags across the state to half-staff on Friday in Corder's honor.
