俄罗斯总统普京2月27日出席俄罗斯联邦安全局委员会年度会议时发表讲话称，“并非所有人都乐见俄美恢复接触，一些西方精英仍执意维持当今世界的不稳定状态，企图破坏俄美对话，应利用所有的外交和情报手段挫败这种企图。”
In a speech at the annual meeting of the Federal Security Service of Russia on February 27th, President Putin stated, "Not everyone is pleased with the restoration of Russia-U.S. contact. Some Western elites are determined to maintain the current instability in the world and are attempting to sabotage Russia-U.S. dialogue. We must use all diplomatic and intelligence means to thwart these attempts."
