About the only thing that stops these bikes from running suddenly in their tracks is the Hall effect sensor. If you have just bought one with no history of hall effect sensor replacement, or if your bike has never had one and is approaching 50,000 miles (the normal life of a Hall effect sensor). Then, you need to consider replacing this fairly soon. There are no symptoms of a failing sensor. Just a sudden stopping of the engine as if you have turned the ignition off. Average cost is about £150 (summer 2025) don't buy cheap ones. If you know about electrical items you will be able to make one for about £20. I don't so I can't show you how.
